We are seeking an exceptional, compassionate and creative teacher to join our dedicated team from September 2026. This is a unique opportunity to work across both mainstream KS2 and our specialist ASD class, helping every child to belong, grow and flourish.

2 days per week: Teaching in a mainstream KS2 class

3 days per week: Teaching within our specialist ASD Class (KS2)

This dual role offers the best of both worlds — the joy of class teaching and the fulfilment of specialist provision — within a school that truly values inclusion, nurture and high expectations for all.

About Us

At St Paul’s CofE Primary School & Nursery, our vision “Learning in God’s Love” shapes everything we do. We are a growing, inclusive primary with a thriving Nursery and specialist ASD Unit. Our culture is rooted in Courage, Compassion and Community, ensuring that every child is known, valued and supported to succeed.

We are proud to be recognised for our inclusive ethos and the high-quality specialist support provided through our ASD Unit and SEARCh Nurture Hub. Staff wellbeing, professional growth and teamwork sit at the heart of our practice.

We’re Looking For Someone Who:

  • Is an excellent classroom practitioner, committed to enabling every child to thrive
  • Has a passion for inclusion and understands that behaviour is communication
  • Is reflective, resilient and eager to grow through coaching and professional learning
  • Brings creativity, empathy and high expectations to every lesson
  • Can build strong relationships with children, families and colleagues
  • (Experience or interest in SEND/ASD is desirable, but training and mentoring will be provided)

We Offer:

  • A caring, supportive and forward-thinking staff team
  • A strong coaching culture underpinned by WalkThrus professional development
  • A curriculum rich in experience, creativity and community connection
  • Specialist training in SEND, ASD, and nurture-based practice
  • Wellbeing-focused leadership who understand workload balance
  • A beautiful setting with a school farm, vibrant outdoor learning and strong church partnership.

We reserve the right to interview and subsequently appoint before the closing date, so early application is advised.

Please contact the school office to arrange a date to come and have a look around and discover more about this unique role.
