Class Teacher / Intervention Teacher
Full Time
An exciting opportunity to join a growing, ambitious and highly inclusive primary school.
We are looking for a skilled, committed and adaptable teacher to join our team at St Paul’s.
This is a slightly different teaching opportunity, offering the chance to work across our school initially, before developing into either a class teacher or intervention teacher role as our school continues to grow.
We are deliberately keeping both pathways open because we want to find the right person. The skills, experience and strengths of the successful candidate will help shape the future direction of the role.
About St Paul’s
St Paul’s is a growing primary school with high expectations, a strong commitment to inclusion and a determination to provide the very best education and opportunities for our children.
We are proud to support children with a complex and diverse range of needs. Our commitment is simple: **every child is cared for, valued and given the provision, opportunities and support they deserve.**
We recognise that every child is different, and we work hard to adapt our approach to meet their individual needs. This requires patience, flexibility, compassion and high expectations from every member of our team.
Our school has grown from an infant school into a developing primary school, with a thriving Nursery, specialist SEND provision and our SEARCh nurture and intervention hub.
Inclusion is central to our approach. Supporting children's communication, emotional regulation, wellbeing and readiness to learn is an important part of everyday school life. We believe in strong relationships, clear expectations and understanding the individual needs of every child.
Guided by our vision, Learning in God's Love, and our values of Courage, Compassion and Community, we are determined to ensure every child belongs, grows and flourishes.
About the Role
Initially, this will be a teaching role working across the school, providing high-quality teaching to children in different year groups.
The successful candidate will not initially have responsibility for their own class. Instead, they will work alongside our existing teaching team, delivering high-quality lessons, supporting teaching and learning across year groups and ensuring children receive the teaching, support and challenge they need.
This is a qualified teacher role, with a clear focus on excellent teaching and making a difference to children's learning.
As our school continues to expand, the position will develop into one of two pathways:
Class Teacher
Taking responsibility for a class as additional year groups open, delivering an ambitious curriculum and ensuring excellent progress for all children.
Intervention Teacher
Leading high-quality, targeted teaching and interventions across the school, working with individuals and groups of children who would benefit from additional teaching, support or challenge. This would include helping children overcome barriers to learning and make strong academic progress.
We have not predetermined which pathway the role will follow. This will depend on the experience, expertise and strengths of the successful candidate, alongside the developing needs of our school.

- Works well as part of a team and is prepared to go above and beyond.
