The Governors of our popular primary school are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, successful and dedicated Play Worker to work in our Before & After School Club, known as BASE. The successful candidate will need to have experience and the enthusiasm and work alongside existing staff to provide a fantastic after school provision. The successful person will actively participate in the delivery of good quality play and care provision for children and young people attending the Club. They will maintain a safe and stimulating play setting and encourage child centered play. The age of children attending BASE ranges from 3 year to 11 years.

- Start Date: September 2025 (possibly some work in July to settle in)
- Contract: Initially a fixed term contract until 31 August 2026
- Hours: 5 afternoons per week, 2:45pm to 4:45pm, 10 hours per week, term time only (working 38 weeks per year)
- Salary: Surrey Pay PS3, pro rata salary of £5,654 per annum (£471 per month)
First Aid and child protection/safeguarding training will be provided. Initially the role will be offered on a fixed term contract until 31 August 2026, at which will be reviewed during the summer 2026.
