Stroud High School is proud to celebrate its largest and most successful Sixth Form to date - and we are now looking for an inspiring Cover Supervisor to join our thriving community.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will join a strong and supportive team of staff. You will be responsible for helping students, parents, teachers and the school to establish a supportive and nurturing learning environment in which students can make outstanding academic progress. The role involves supervising whole classes during the absence of the class teacher as directed by the line manager. You will implement work programmes, manage student behaviour and assist students in line with the school’s policies and procedures.
This position is a permanent post working 1 day per week with the possibility of further days, term time only with additional days required to undertake some inset. The working pattern is 6 ¼ hours allowing for 30 minutes at the beginning and end of the day, 5 teaching periods and time to support registration.
