I am extremely proud to be the Head Teacher of Sutherland House School.

We provide an individualised and person centred curriculum for all of our pupils. The experienced, talented and dedicated staff support each student using Positive Behaviour Support methods; this is integral to every part of school life and is tailored individually to the diverse needs of each pupil.

Here at Sutherland House School, we are pleased to offer a broad and balanced curriculum for pupils with a diagnosis of Autism. We provide a tailored, structured and meaningful learning experience for all abilities. Our varying aspects of assessment ensure personalised outcomes for each student; which includes academic progress, life skills, developing independence and preparing for adulthood.

We are privileged as a school to work in collaboration with a specialist Clinical Team including: Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Psychology. This allows us to work with each individual in a holistic and person centred approach.

I welcome you to book a visit and see for yourselves how we value and care for our pupils; appointments and further information can be discussed with our friendly administration team.

I look forward to meeting you soon.

Kind regards,

Ann Stewart
