Student Wellbeing & Support Officer

Permanent, Part-Time 

Start Date: Summer Term 2021

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about the Wellbeing and safeguarding of young people to join our School, who is has the ability to engage with children and young people.  If you wish to pursue a career working with young people and have an interest in charity, Wellbeing and positive mental health then we would like to hear from you. 

This position will support the pastoral team covering all aspects of the Wellbeing of students so we would like to speak to you if you have experience working in an environment with children and/or young people as this is very important.   As the lead for charity in the school the successful candidate will have a passion for raising awareness about those in need and will drive fundraising and volunteering activities amongst our students.

This post is offered as a permanent contract and is 56.08% of full-time during term time (174 days) plus our 4 INSET days. The working hours are 25 hours a week worked as follows: 11am to 4pm, Monday to Thursday and 10.30am to 3.30pm on Friday.

The salary package will depend on qualifications, experience and the full-time equivalent salary will be circa £18,000 to £24,000 per annum (pro rata £10,094 to £13,459 per annum).

• A genuine interest in the emotional wellbeing of students

• Excellent administrative, organisation and time management skills and a willingness to embrace the School’s Digital Strategy
