Sir William Perkins's School is looking to recruit an outstanding Head of Estates to assist with the implementation of the Estates Strategy for the School and to lead and manage the estates function and team. The successful candidate will have experience of estates management or building surveying, along with knowledge of health and safety legislation and compliance. In addition, experience of project managing new developments and sustainability would be highly desirable. The individual will be highly motivated and will work closely with members of the Senior Leadership Team in a key supervisory and management position.
The post holder will manage all aspects of the School Estate, including upkeep, care, maintenance, security, health and safety and facilities management in line with statutory and regulatory requirements. They will manage all aspects of developing, procuring and implementing both refurbishment and new building projects within our organisation.

Sir William Perkins’s School is a high-performing, academically selective, independent girls’ school for approximately 600 students aged 11 – 18 years. The Head is both a member of HMC and GSA.
