Ashby Hill Top Primary School is looking to appoint an experienced HLTA. The role will involve providing cover across the school in the absence of teaching staff and covering during PPA. The candidate must have experience of working across the primary phase, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships will all stake holders. Our school requires the candidate to be positive, flexible, creative and have a sound knowledge of behavior management strategies. The candidate will be required to work well in an established team, working reflectively on a daily basis to modify and adapt practice according to pupils’ needs.
The successful, well-qualified candidate will:
• have experience of working in a range of year groups across the primary phase
• have high expectations of pupils achievement
• have a solid understanding and experience of working with children with a range of needs
• have successful experience undertaking classroom supervision
• possess good communication skills with pupils and staff alike
• be willing to undertake CPD
• be a team player with a positive outlook
• be driven by the needs of our pupils
• have an ability to work in partnership with pupils, parents, staff and governors.
