Monday-Friday, Term time only, 8.30am-3.15pm
Start Date: 19th August 2026
Contract: 1 year fixed term

Donisthorpe Primary is a popular and successful school and we are extremely proud of our community ethos. We are seeking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our team. This is fixed-term contract for one year.
We are looking for an excellent Learning Support Assistant to offer in-class support.
The successful candidate will need to have:
• NVQ 2 in Supporting Teaching and Learning, (or equivalent) or suitable work experience
• High expectations of what children can achieve
• Experience of working/volunteering with children in the primary range, including children with a range of additional needs
• Flexibility and creativity
• A positive approach and passion for engaging children in learning
• An ability to develop good relationships with children, colleagues and parents.
• To be trained in first aid or be willing to be trained in First Aid.
