Pay: Grade 5 - £13.05 per hour (pay award pending)
The Senior Leadership Team and Governors of Ashby Willesley Primary School are seeking to appoint an administration assistant to work 8.15am to 4pm Friday and 1pm – 4pm on either a Wednesday or Thursday (to be agreed) . Rated Good by Ofsted, we are an ambitious, forward-thinking school with an exceptionally motivated group of staff and engaged pupils and parents. We need a confident, friendly and flexible person for the role within a busy school office. The post is part time, working 10.25 hours per week during term time only.
The successful candidate will be hardworking, willing and enjoy interacting with our children, visitors and colleagues. The main responsibilities of this role are to provide confidential, effective, efficient and flexible administrative support with minimal supervision.
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic administration assistant who:

• has previous administration experience with meticulous attention to details
• ideally has previous experience in a busy school office or similar dealing with tasks such as organising sports and enrichment events, management of medication in school and analysing attendance data

We are a good, two form entry school, catering for pupils from Foundation Stage to Year 6 and have 413 pupils on roll. Our school is highly respected in the community and is often over subscribed for pupil places. Our pupils are engaged and parents are supportive. The school is well resourced, with a low staff turnover and we have a good level of support staff in classes. We pride ourselves on our sporting achievements and support for children’s and adults' wellbeing.
