We have an exciting opportunity for a class teacher to join our forward-thinking school.

Situated in the small village of Rushton, our school is much loved by its pupils, families and the wider community.  Our staff team and governing body form an exceptional, highly engaged and ambitious team.

Rushton Primary School is looking for a part-time teacher for 3 days (Tuesday - Thursday) for a position to start  1st September 2026 - 0.5 will be a permanent post and 0.1 will be fixed-term.

The salary will be paid on the Main Pay Scale.

Although we are a small school, we provide our children with the same experiences as larger schools, while maintaining a close-knit environment.  Every member of staff knows each child personally.  We also have a wonderful parent community that volunteers their time to support learning, school trips and fundraising activities.

Applications are welcomed from applicants who have an interest or experience of continuous provision in Key Stage 1 as well as candidates in the early years of their teaching career.

The candidates we are looking for will:

• Demonstrate and believe in high expectations and aspirations for all learners in the class through the use of adaptions and strategies to support inclusion

• Be committed to all children and be willing to go the extra mile,
