Early Years Foundation Stage Leader / Reception Class Teacher

Are you looking for an exciting leadership challenge to lead across an Early Years setting?

We are looking for a skilled teacher with experience of teaching in the Early Years, who is either ready to take on the challenge of leading an Early Years setting for the first time, or someone who already has this experience and is looking for a fresh opportunity.

We are an ambitious, forward-thinking 2 form entry primary school with a highly motivated group of staff and engaged pupils and parents. The staff at Newcroft are committed to achieving the very best outcomes for our pupils and go above and beyond every day. We are extremely proud of our school, and we are looking for an Early Years Leader who matches our passion for teaching and learning.

We are very proud of our EYFS provision which is made up of 2 Reception classes and a 1 Pre School class for 3 and 4 year olds, led by an experienced Pre School teacher. Our EYFS setting is newly refurbished and resourced. The successful applicant will be at the heart of our EYFS team, taking the lead role in the continued development of the Reception and Pre School provision, and will teach one of our 2 Reception classes.

  • Is an experienced leading Early Years teacher and leader, or is an experienced Early Years teacher, looking to step into leadership.

  • Embraces teamwork, demonstrating strong interpersonal relationships.
  • Has excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Has safeguarding and pupil wellbeing at the forefront of their classroom practice.
  • Can demonstrate experience of promoting children's health, safety, and welfare.
