Casual Learning Support Assistant (LSA)
Start Date: As Soon As Possible
Contract Type: Casual (reviewed termly, with potential to become permanent subject to funding)
Working Pattern: 5 days per week, around 4 hours per day (term time only), including a 30-minute unpaid break
Salary: Grade 5, Point 7-8
Glen Hills Primary School is seeking a committed and adaptable individual to join our team as a Casual Learning Support Assistant (LSA). This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils across a range of year groups, contributing to both their academic progress and pastoral wellbeing.
Role Overview
You will work closely with teaching staff to support lesson delivery and pupil engagement, including:
• Assisting with planning, preparation, and delivery of learning activities
• Providing one-to-one and small group support across different classes
• Covering staff breaks and lunch duties
• Preparing resources and supporting classroom organisation
• Monitoring pupil progress and feeding back to teachers
• Supporting pupils with SEND and ensuring their individual needs are met
