Do you take pride in creating a safe, welcoming and well-maintained environment? Would you like to make a real difference to young people's lives?

We are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive and motivated Site Manager to join our friendly and supportive team.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in our growing school community, ensuring our buildings, grounds and facilities provide a safe, secure and welcoming environment for pupils, staff and visitors.

We are proud of our caring ethos and strong sense of community. Ofsted recognised us as 'a caring school', and our staff describe us as 'one big family'.

About the role

You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the school site, ensuring buildings, grounds and facilities are maintained to a high standard. You will coordinate site-related work, support and organise the site team, oversee maintenance and ensure health and safety requirements are met.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience in a school or similar premises/facilities management role.

• Is organised, proactive and able to prioritise and delegate workloads.

• Can coordinate and support a team effectively.

• Has a good understanding of health and safety requirements and procedures.

• Takes pride in maintaining high standards and has excellent attention to detail.

• Is practical, resourceful and confident using their own initiative.

• Has good communication skills and can build positive relationships with colleagues, contractors and visitors.

• Is reliable, flexible, enthusiastic and committed to working as part of a team.

Why join us?

• A friendly, welcoming and supportive team.

• A school with a strong sense of community.

• The opportunity to make a real difference every day.

• A varied and rewarding role where your contribution is valued.

Working hours: We offer flexibility, with the opportunity to discuss alternating early and late weeks, a fixed pattern or a combination of both.

We warmly encourage school visits. To arrange a visit or an informal discussion about the role, please contact the school office.

Our school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. We expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful applicant will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory pre-employment safeguarding checks.
