Salary: Grade 13, £24,027 FTE per annum (Actual Salary based on weeks worked and hours: £16,756.58 p.a.)
Contract: Temporary to cover a period of maternity leave until 31.07.26 or the substantive post-holders return if earlier.
Hours: 30 per week (8:45am – 3:15 pm Monday to Friday with a 30 minute unpaid lunchbreak), term time only to include INSET days (39 weeks)

The Role:
We are looking to appoint a Care Assistant to support a number of children with complex Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEN/D), some of whom also have medical conditions. The successful candidate will join a strong and supportive team, highly skilled in meeting the needs of children with social and communication difficulties.
We have developed three alternative learning hubs within the school, and the children transition between these hubs and mainstream classrooms. As a Care Assistant, you will work across these provisions, providing support with medical, health, and personal care needs.

Fluency Duty
This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to converse at ease with pupils, parents and other users and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
