We have an exciting opportunity for a Special Educational Needs & Disabilities Coordinator (SENDCo) who can provide a strategic and operational oversight of provision for those pupils with SEN. We are searching for a candidate who will inspire our pupils in the classroom by delivering innovative curricula and by giving them the confidence to progress through our school. You will need to have in depth knowledge of SENd and EHCP processes and working with children who have a range of special educational needs. You will also need to hold or be working towards the National Award for Special Educational Needs Coordination qualification along with your Qualified Teacher Status.

Have excellent knowledge of SEND
Be an experienced secondary teacher
Have effective behaviour management
Have a thorough Understanding of SENd and EHCP processes.

Fluency Duty
The ability to converse at ease with pupils, parents and other users of the service and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
