Trust in Learning Academies are looking to appoint an Executive Assistant to work in the Trust’s central education team.

You will provide professional, comprehensive and confidential organisational and administrative support to the Director of Education and School Development Team based in our Trust Education Office on the site of Orchard School in north Bristol.

This role involves leading on the communications and business administration of the School Development Team, building effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and working confidentially and discreetly with Directors, Headteachers and other senior personnel.

However, this is much more than an administrative role. You will lead on the organisational elements of:

Quality Assurance with schools, including core visits, SEND and safeguarding audits and reviews

Professional Learning and Development training and events

Stakeholder Voice (pupils, parents and carers, and staff)

Education policies schedules

The successful candidate will be experienced in providing confidential support to senior personnel in an educational environment, and have excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.

The role will be varied and busy. You will need to keep up to date with educational change and be prepared to carry out projects from time to time. You may be expected to attend meetings occasionally in other schools across the Trust, and a small amount of evening work may be required.

We offer:

Paid induction and training suited to the role

Confidential access to an Employee Assistance Programme

Free parking

Use of the Cycle Scheme

Paid completion of a DBS check

Flu vaccination vouchers

Free eye tests (where the employee is desk-based)

Where eligible, automatic enrolment to the relevant pension scheme

Honouring of continuous service earned in the Local Authority
