Hours/Days: 8am - 10am, Monday - Friday

Responsible to: Attendance Manager

We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic person who is able to work across the Campus to provide attendance support, working closely with individual students and their families to reduce the barriers they have in coming to school. Working alongside the Attendance Manager you will support a culture of ‘attendance is everyone’s responsibility’ within the community.

Job Purpose: To maximise pupils’ school attendance and foster positive relationships. To be responsible and competent driving the school minibus to transport pupils, ensuring the safety of students and other road users and compliance with the law.

  • Experience driving a minibus, preferably in a school setting
  • The ability to be safe and consistent on a daily basis
  • Empathy, tenacity and resilience, with a firm and fair approach

Fluency Duty

The ability to converse at ease with pupils, parents and other users of the service and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
