Our schools represent the very diverse and strong multicultural communities of the city and our aim is to ensure that all young people from all backgrounds have access to a quality education.

Admission to our multi-ability academies at Titan Aston Academy or Titan St George’s Academy is open to students from Year 8 upwards and operates through a referral process or direct contact to the Executive Headteacher.

We believe that irrespective of the circumstances that led to a young person joining one of our academies, they deserve a first-class education and support towards the next stage of their career journey.

Our leadership team and wider body of teaching and support staff understand and know first-hand how to make the education environment, better for all students and the Titan Education Trust was created for this reason. Working closely together to share best practices and giving every student a chance to succeed, we are a small but growing academy trust with a vision and mission to ensure every student achieves their potential.

Collectively as an academy trust and individually at a local academy level, we consistently strive to be the best we possibly can to ensure that our efforts have a strong and positive impact on each of our students as a whole person, not just educationally.

It is our vision to operate Titan Education Trust as an effective collaboration of academies serving the communities in which they operate. We are determined to improve the educational experiences of our students and pride ourselves on offering a broad, balanced and fully engaging curriculum.

We are committed to ensuring year on year improvement in our academies to provide the best possible learning opportunities for our students.

Our academy improvement support is provided by highly experienced staff across a range of areas of expertise and works in line with our Academy Improvement Plans. The key to our success is the bespoke and tailored nature of the support we provide, including:

• Baseline and monitoring reviews carried out by individuals with HMI experience
• Detailed review reports for each of our academies, outlining key priorities for improvement
• Improvement planning, focused on key milestones to becoming outstanding
• Review of each academy’s safeguarding policies and procedures
• Extensive support before and during Ofsted and DfE visits
• Collaborative and professional development opportunities to help strengthen capacity of leaders and all staff.
