Tolworth Girls' School & Sixth Form is a World Class School with high expectations. We are looking to appoint a Network Manager to actively maintain and support the IT network for the school.
This post offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced and well qualified senior technician, to take responsibility for the management of the Network Infrastructure, Servers and associated storage. This post heads up a small team to deliver IT infrastructure design, development and maintenance, to enable our staff and students at the Academy to fulfil their IT work and study requirements.
You
Our ideal candidate is well qualified to degree level or equivalent, with experience of working in a senior technical IT role. You will have experience of Windows 2022/ 2019/ 2016 Servers & Windows Desktops plus Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy. Experience of Arbor or a similar MIS is desirable. You are highly organised, an excellent communicator on all levels and are skilled meeting deadlines and closing projects to fit the business needs. This post is full-time working on-site, Monday to Thursday usually 8am – 3:45pm and Fridays 8am – 3:30pm inclusive of unpaid rest breaks. However some flexibility is needed to meet the business needs with possible evening and weekend work, which may be remote. 29 days annual leave, to be taken in periods of school holidays, plus bank holidays.
