This role provides an exciting opportunity for a skilled and organised educator to join an innovative team within a high-achieving department. We are looking for a motivated professional with a genuine passion for their subject, who can bring creativity and energy to their teaching. You will be working alongside a dedicated and experienced team of specialists.
The ideal candidate will be a committed and inspiring teacher who shares our ethos: “Let your light so shine – Be the best you can be.” Our ideal candidate will be able to teach a minimum of 2 out of the 3 subjects of Sociology; Economics; Psychology and Criminology, which are all offered to students at Key Stage 5. These courses are some of the most popular in the Sixth Form, attracting motivated and engaged students. The post will allow the candidate to work within a tight-knit group of expert teachers who are passionate about delivering their subjects at Sixth Form and want to promote a love of the subjects to allow students to pursue them at university. We welcome candidates with a specialism in one of the subjects and who are keen to train and be developed in a second Social Science subject.
This is a flexible position, working full-time or part-time, a minimum of 0.6/ 3 days per week.
This post is available for September 2026. The position follows the MPS/UPS Outer London pay scale. We welcome applications from ECTs, who will benefit from a well-structured and supportive ECT programme in place.
