Thank you for your interest in the secondment for Languages Curriculum Leader and Teacher of Welsh. This is an important position for Abersychan School, as we aim to improve the quality of provision and standards in Welsh. The Languages Department consists of strong teachers and requires strong leadership to cover a period of maternity, and to secure good outcomes for students. The Assistant Headteacher Pedagogy is passionate about embedding the Siarter Iaith Cymraeg Campus and the successful candidate will work closely with the Assistant Headteacher to raise the profile of Welsh within the school community. Applicants will require approval from your current Headteacher, before applying for this position.
Abersychan School is an 11-16 comprehensive school which ensures that children of all abilities fulfil their potential.
