"TPA is a vibrant, two-form entry academy on the Green in Twickenham. Our school is part of the Omnia Trust.
For those of you new to TPA, we look forward to welcoming you to the school and I hope that our website provides you with a comprehensive introduction to our values, expectations and way of working.
I am very proud to be the Principal, working alongside a dedicated and inspiring team of teachers, support staff and governors. Above all, I feel privileged to be surrounded every day by enthusiastic, enquiring pupils.
Our mission at Twickenham Primary Academy is to provide a welcoming environment where everyone feels included and part of Team TPA. Children’s curiosity and creativity is nurtured through an inspiring, broad and creative curriculum. Every day, children are challenged and encouraged to be independent learners; to be resilient and aspirational, so that they all reach their full potential.
We offer additional curriculum time that is afforded by the length of the school day (8:30am-3:30pm) for Reception children increasing slightly each year to 4pm by year 5. The longer day ensures that the important and enriching subjects such as languages, PE, music, art, independent learning projects and response to feedback and self-improvement targets is possible without compromising a focus on high academic outcomes in core subjects. A truly enriched and enriching education is offered to the pupils.
Our vision is to create a school where our pupils are inspiring, challenging, nurturing and empowering. We aim to instil in them a passion for learning that will enable to become successful and to make positive contributions to the local community and beyond. At TPA, we are ambitious for all of our learners.
The positive support of our parents and the wider community is very important to us all and we maintain an open and welcoming environment where we can work in partnership for the benefit of our pupils."
Erin Moscardini | Principal, Twickenham Primary Academy
