School Sports Manager

Salary: Scale 6 (Actual Salary: £23,809 - £25,570 per annum inclusive)
Contract Type: Full Time - 35 hours per week, 39 weeks per annum.
Contract Term: Permanent
Thank you for your interest in working at West Lea School. We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our PE Teaching Team, who will deliver and monitor a coordinated programme of high quality, professional learning that is progressive and reflective of the needs of pupils, and supports the aim of increasing participation in PE and school sport by all pupils at West Lea School.
We are a ‘values-based’ organisation catering for students aged 4-24 with special educational needs where we believe in a world where everyone can flourish. We are seeking a Safeguarding officer who shares our values.
We are looking for an exceptional candidate who:
• Has 2 to 3 years coaching experience, with at least 1 year school experience
• Has an understanding of successful strategies for meeting the needs of all pupils
• Knowledge of a range of good classroom and behaviour management strategies
• Has the ability to prioritise, know when to take decisions and when to defer
• Has a positive outlook and who is committed and approachable.
