This is a full time role, working 37 hours per week.
Day to day duties of the role
* Oversee Personal Development tutors and their delivery of the STEPS programme, arranging regular meetings to share best practices / key updates.
* Develop engaging learning focusing on topical points such as British Values, Safeguarding & Prevent, Respect Relationships & Sex, Drugs & Alcohol, Digital Technologies, Sustainability, and Equality, Diversity & Inclusion.
* Work closely with the Head of Student Experience and Personal Development to demonstrate the impact of the role across all responsibilities.
* Coordinate the delivery of key personal development themes, celebrations, and awareness days across the college, involving marketing, event organisation, and collaboration with external stakeholders.
Required skills and qualifications
* Teaching or training qualification (e.g. PGCE, CertEd, Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training).
* Experience of working with young people and or adults within an education setting.
* Strong understanding of personal development frameworks, including British Values, Safeguarding & Prevent, Relationships and Sex Education, Substance Awareness, Digital Safety, and Equality, Diversity & Inclusion.
* Experience of developing and delivering engaging educational resources or programmes in line with curriculum goals.
