A brand-new position within WMAT as they enter an exciting and pivotal point of their journey of growth creating a strong and cohesive primary hub of five primary schools along with other Primary Schools waiting to join them.
The creation of the Director of Primary role reflects the Trust’s ambition and commitment to sustained school improvement and ensuring consistently high standards across the primary phase under strong, values-led leadership.
This is a full-time position requiring exceptional leadership for the primary phase of the Trust, whether through an experienced trust leader seeking a strategic role, or a highly effective Headteacher ready to combine school level leadership with trust wide impact.
As the Director of Primary, you will play a central strategic role in shaping and leading primary education across WMAT. Working closely with Headteachers, Trust leaders in particular the Executive Director of Academy Improvement and the Director of Specialist School Improvement, alongside wider colleagues to drive improvement, share best practice and ensure every primary school in the Trust is supported to thrive. This is a role combining strategic oversight with professional collaboration, and one that will have a tangible impact on the life chances of the children WMAT serve.
