At Clifton Hill School, we pride ourselves on being a vibrant and supportive community where students aged 11 to 19, with severe and profound multiple learning difficulties, are at the heart of everything we do. Many of our students have additional diagnoses and complex needs, and our dedicated team is committed to fostering their independence and preparing them for a fulfilling life beyond education.

We believe in creating an environment that is not only caring but also empowering, where high expectations go hand in hand with a culture of kindness, respect, and inclusion. Our staff work together in a supportive and friendly team, with plenty of opportunities for professional development, training, and career growth. The well-being of our team is just as important as that of our students, and we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including a generous pension scheme, shopping discounts, and access to health and lifestyle support.

We are looking for a passionate, flexible, and energetic lunchtime teaching assistant who is excited to work closely with our teachers to help support our students. If you are someone who is conscientious, motivated, and eager to learn, we would love to hear from you. Previous experience in supporting children or adults with learning difficulties is beneficial, but above all, a genuine desire to make a positive difference in the lives of our young people is key. Full training will be provided, and while the role does require resilience in handling challenging behaviours, it is an incredibly rewarding and impactful position for those who are truly dedicated to improving life outcomes for our students.

Please apply as soon as possible, as applications will be considered as soon as they are received, and we reserve the right to close applications early if the role is filled.

Clifton Hill school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff, governors and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful applicant will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check, health check and other safer recruitment checks, including online searches.  Applications will only be accepted on our application form. CV's will not be considered.  No agencies please.
