Teaching Assistant SEND - Severe LD, PMLD, Autism

Part-Time - 29.75 hours per week (Daily from 8.55am-3.20pm and 8.45am start on a Wednesday). Part-Time Full Days may be considered.
Surrey scale WA3 - actual starting salary for 5 days per week, term time only (plus 5 INSET days): £16,819.  (FTE £23,662 - £25,356)

Many of our students have additional diagnoses and complex needs. We are looking for enthusiastic, flexible and energetic teaching assistants who are willing to work throughout the school to support our teachers in securing high quality learning and life skills achievement. You will be conscientious, willing to learn new skills, fit and motivated, and keen to work as part of a team. Experience of working with children/adults with learning difficulties or in a care environment is useful, although a desire to improve the life outcomes for our young people is most important and full training will be provided. The role includes working with young people with challenging behaviour, so physical and emotional resilience is required.
