OVERVIEW

Who Are We?

Every child makes progress from their personal starting point academically, socially and emotionally.

At Widden, we aim to provide activities and experiences that will ignite children's interest and develop their love of learning. We celebrate all children's achievements both inside and outside of school and aim to develop good citizens who contribute positively to their community. Children engage in sporting competitions, plays, music events, visits etc. We celebrate their successes and encourage them to believe in themselves and grow confidence in a safe and nurturing environment.

Who Are You?

Do you want to really make a difference? If you do, we want you! If you are interested in developing your ideas to support really good learning - we want you! If you are an enthusiastic and inspirational teacher who loves learning - we want you!

Widden Primary School is very happy to be part of the Greenshaw family.

Martin Rowlands, Chair of Goveners at Victor Seymour Infants' School said, "We believe Victor Seymour has a lot to offer the trust and will also benefit from collaborative working by becoming an academy in partnership with the Greenshaw family of schools.

The Greenshaw Learning Trust is a charitable company, limited by guarantee, with the sole purpose of maintaining and developing academy schools to provide comprehensive and inclusive education for the public benefit. Its schools are publicly funded by the Department for Education.

The Trust was established in June 2011 by the Governing Body of Greenshaw High School when the school became an academy. In October 2014 it was reconstituted as a multi academy trust under the name 'Greenshaw Learning Trust'.
