The Opportunity
This is a Fixed Term contract for one year to cover maternity leave. We are looking for an enthusiastic Teacher of Science to plan and deliver ambitious, well-structured and inclusive learning that enables students to make strong progress. You will create warm, respectful and purposeful learning environments, contributing to the Trust's Warm • Gripping • Seen approach. You will be able to adapt teaching responsively to meet the strengths and needs of students, including students with SEND and disadvantaged students, while maintaining high expectations for all.

We are looking for someone who can bring the right combination of experience, skills and commitment to the role.
• An appropriate professional teaching qualification and background in teaching.
• High standards of expectations for all students.
• Excellent working knowledge of ICT, and how it can be used to raise attainment.
• The ability to organise, plan and prepare inspiring and gripping schemes of work and structured lessons, providing for individual requirements for raising attainment.
• A commitment to asking the right questions, testing new ideas and remaining relentlessly focused on raising attainment.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
