The Role

We have an opportunity for a passionate and outstanding Science teacher to join our team at Winterbourne Academy to cover a sabbatical leave.  This will start from 1st September 2024 and will be offered on a fixed term contract ending 31st August 2025.     

You will join a strong and collaborative team who will work together to shape practical pedagogy and a rich curriculum in the school and who also contribute to curriculum development across the wider trust. The Science team are a forward looking, passionate team who seek to support learners at all levels to achieve their potential.

The Science Faculty delivers the full range of courses to A level, with significant numbers of students following the science pathway across groups of Biology, Chemistry and Physics and Applied Science.

We hope that this post becomes permanent in September 2025.
