Would you like to work in a supportive team that values each individual’s contribution?
An exciting opportunity has arisen for someone to join Bradgate Education Partnership, working at Wreake Valley Academy as Head of Computer Science on a full-time permanent basis.
We are seeking to appoint a dynamic, forward thinking, and inspiring Curriculum Lead for Computing to join our well established and high performing Computing Department. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced practitioner ready to take their first steps into departmental leadership, as well as for an existing Head of Computing looking for a new and rewarding challenge.
You will play a central role in shaping the strategic direction of the subject, driving high quality teaching and learning, and contributing to the continued development of an ambitious and innovative curriculum. The successful candidate will be well supported and will have access to a wide range of professional development opportunities both within and beyond the department. We are looking for someone who shares our commitment to high standards of professionalism and academic achievement, and who is eager to develop their own practice within a supportive, collaborative, and forward thinking environment.
Our department values the unique strengths, interests, and approaches that each colleague brings, and we work closely together to develop resources and continually refine our practice. We are seeking an individual with a genuine passion for computing and for teaching young people, someone who can inspire students and is willing to go the extra mile to help them achieve their full potential.
The ability to teach Computer Science to A Level is essential. The department currently consists of two subject specialists who are passionate about their field and committed to ongoing professional growth, working collaboratively to support one another and deliver the highest standards of teaching.
This is an excellent time to join Bradgate Education Partnership, working at Wreake Valley Academy, as we continue to work collaboratively to deliver a high quality education and meaningful experiences to our children and young people.
