Learning Support Assistant

28.75 hours

39 Weeks (Term Time Only + Inset Days)

Grade 5, Points 7 to 8 (£12,531 - £12,783)

We seek two enthusiastic, highly motivated and caring Learning Support Assistants to join Bradgate Inclusion Centre at Wreake Valley Academy on a permanent basis.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join our support staff team. We are looking to appoint well-motivated and enthusiastic individuals who are committed to providing high quality provision to our pupils and the Class Teacher. You will provide outstanding support to students with a range of Inclusion needs, supporting their identified needs and helping our young people to achieve the highest standard of education possible.

The successful candidate appointed will work with a variety of pupils under the guidance of the class teacher and SENDCo to support the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning to help raise standards of achievement. We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our dedicated and talented support team. Our LSA’s work flexibly in that they may sometimes work with different classes or key stages, depending on the needs of the pupils and of the school as a whole.

The ideal candidate for the role will be NVQ Level 2 qualified or equivalent with experience of supporting teaching and learning in an educational setting. The ability to take direction from the Class Teacher to ensure all tasks and learning is undertaken within and outside of the classroom will be essential to being successful in this role.
