Our school is based on being fair, equal and multi-cultural. We are a Rights Respecting school which supports our Wyvern Values (Work Hard, You Can Do It, Value Others, Reach for the Stars and Never Say Never) and the Fundamental British Values of democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty, mutual respect and tolerance of those of different faiths and beliefs. We also pride ourselves on helping others and being friendly and supportive! We have shown this by supporting charities like Action Aid, Rainbows, Unicef and Guide Dogs.

We believe that all children deserve to be heard and that Pupil Voice is very important as it is our school and our education! Everyone is kind and we have lots of fun whilst learning. We like going on educational visits and getting involved in lots of sports like swimming and football!

The pupils at Wyvern come from diverse backgrounds -which is a strength of the school. Fifteen different languages are spoken. We value parents as partners in the education of their children and there are many opportunities when parents are welcomed into school to share and learn alongside their children. All our staff are friendly, enthusiastic and supportive, so that the care, guidance and development of every child is at the heart of our education.

The curriculum is creative and challenging to engage all pupils. It aims to develop pupils into independent learners as well as equipping them with the tools and skills to live in a multicultural society.
