Kestrel Mead Primary Academy, part of The Mead Educational Trust, is situated in the growing area of Hamilton on the outskirts of Leicester City. We are a vibrant, caring and aspirational primary school catering for children between the ages of three and eleven. We are proud to be a school across 2 sites, but are firmly one school. The infant site caters for children from Nursery to Year 2 and our Junior building serves our Year 3-6 children. 

We have a Foundation Stage (three and four year olds), Key Stage 1 (five to seven year olds). Key Stage 2 children remain at Kestrels’ Field until they are eleven years old.

At Kestrels’ Field we aim to offer a safe, stimulating environment which allows children to learn, achieve and be challenged. We promote healthy, active lifestyles and develop independence skills for life. We nurture positive relationships with parents and the wider community.
