St Matthew’s Church of England Infant School is a small village school in Downside, serving its local community of Cobham and surrounding areas. We are a one-form entry school with a PAN of 90 and we are dedicated to maintaining our OFSTED ‘Outstanding’, awarded in 2013.

St Matthew’s vision, ethos and values underpin everything we do, ensuring a strong, cohesive community that enables both children and adults to flourish and to achieve their very best together and as individuals. Feedback from staff who currently work as St Matthew’s shows that they feel valued and are very proud to be part of the team.

We are seeking a part-time Midday Supervisor and Play Coordinator for 8.3 hours per week, Monday to Friday, term-time only. This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic person who enjoys working with children in the learning environment and who likes to work within an effective team. The successful candidate will provide a varied environment where resources can be accessed appropriately by all children and activities differentiated to ensure the needs of all children who attend are met.

St Matthew’s is committed to safeguarding and to promoting the welfare of children and expects staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

We will endeavour to make any necessary adjustments to the job and working environment to enable access to employment opportunities for disabled job applicants or continued employment for any employee who develops a disabling condition.
