Communications & Governance Officer

We have a rare opportunity for a Communications & Governance Officer to join Backwell School on a permanent basis. Working to the general direction of the PA to the Headteacher, the successful applicant will complete a range of duties to support the day-to-day administrative functions, external communications for the role, as well as performing the role of Clerk to Governors.

The successful applicant must be an excellent communicator with strong organisational and administrative skills. Being able to prioritise, multi-task, as well as have excellent writing skills is also a key part of the role to ensure communication across parents, students and governors is effective and efficient.

This permanent post is available from the 2 September 2024, part time 30 hours a week, paid on the JG5 salary scale. The post holder will be required to work on the 5 INSET days as well as 6 days during the school holidays.
