Deputy Network Manager

We have an exciting vacancy for a Deputy Network Manager to join our talented IT Team on a permanent basis. This is an all year round contract working 37 hours a week, offering 25 days holiday plus bank holidays. You will work with, and deputise for, our Network Manager in providing IT support to meet the needs of both staff and pupils' in our busy secondary school. Other aspects of the role will involve working on the security and accessibility of the school’s IT Infrastructure.

The successful candidate will have a great understanding and demonstrable knowledge of Mac and Windows operating systems (Windows Server, 2016/2019, Active directory, Windows 10 and Office 365) and Smoothwall filtering systems as well as significant experience of IT support, inclusive of the repair and maintenance of desktops, laptops, iMacs and peripherals.

As the post is also customer facing the post holder must have well developed interpersonal communication skills. This role requires the ability to work meticulously and methodically whilst prioritising workload to meet the school’s needs and values.
