DT Technician

25 hours per week, term time only + 5 INSET days

Grade point: JG4 £26,403 to £28,142 (full time)

Actual salary, based on hours and paid weeks: £12535.77 to £13,361.42

Factor / Paid weeks: 45.8

 

Design and Technology Technicians, we need your skills! If you have an apt for all technological subjects within food, metal, textiles and woodwork we have a great new prospect for you!

Backwell School is seeking a DT Technician join our brilliant Design and Technology department, starting on the 19th October 2026 on a permanent basis.

The successful post holder must be an experienced multi-skilled technician within food, metal, textiles and woodwork. We would require the post holder to be confident in supporting our staff and students with their DT lesson preparations.

The post holder will need to work the 25 hours over 5 days, Monday to Friday during the term.
