An exciting opportunity has arisen for someone to join The Roundhill Academy as Head of Year on a permanent basis. The Head of Year is responsible for all aspects of pastoral care for a year group and lead in the initiatives to identify any barriers to learning.
The post holder will be required to work with students and families to raise attendance, understand trends in behaviour and implement strategies to deal with behaviour. The successful candidate will be required to undertake First Aid training.
This role is a rewarding one with a successful candidate having the opportunity to take responsibility to encourage, guide and support student wellbeing and academic achievement at the school, ensuring students achieve to the best of their ability.
