Would you like to make a difference and help shape the lives of our Reception pupils? We're looking for a Teaching Assistant to work in our Early Years Unit to work Monday to Friday, term time only (plus one training day). 8.30am to 3.30pm.   This role may include working 1:1 with children with additional needs. 

This role can be combined with working in our wraparound care provision. Please note in your application if you are able to work any wraparound care hours: we run a breakfast club from 7.30am and an after school club until 6pm.

Required to start 3 September 2024.

We are an outdoorsy school set in 5.5 acres, with our own smallholding, including farm animals and an allotment.

Our Early Years Unit combines nursery (from age 3) and Reception classes. This role would be based in the Reception year group although there is some crossover in the Unit and you may be working with nursery-aged children too.

We have an excellent track record with staff development; many of our teaching assistants have gone on to train as teachers or have undertaken further specialist training for their role. As part of the Bourne Education Trust, there are further potential career opportunities too.

The salary is £21475 full time equivalent, £15737 actual for 32.5 hours per week, 36.8 weeks per year (term time plus one staff training day)
