Meadow Primary School: Motivating Pupils to Succeed

Are you passionate about making a real difference in children’s lives? Do you thrive in a dynamic, supportive environment where every day brings new opportunities to inspire young minds? If so, Meadow Primary School is looking for you.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our vibrant team. This is more than just a role—it’s a chance to play a pivotal part in shaping confident, independent learners and supporting children to achieve their full potential.

The Role

As a HLTA, you will:

Deliver high-quality, targeted support to pupils, helping them grow academically and personally

Work closely with Teachers and Senior Leaders to raise standards and outcomes

Lead whole classes in the absence of a teacher

Champion inclusion, wellbeing, and pupil welfare at every level

Act as a role model, promoting the values and ethos of both the school and the Trust

This is a role for someone who is proactive, adaptable, and deeply committed to supporting every child’s journey.

Why Meadow Primary School?

Meadow Primary School is a thriving, three-form entry school with a nursery, set in beautiful grounds in Surrey. As part of the Bourne Education Trust, we are driven by a powerful mission: Transforming schools…changing lives.

Here, you’ll find:

A warm, welcoming community where staff and pupils feel valued

A strong focus on developing confident, respectful, and resourceful learners

A culture where everyone is encouraged to excel

A commitment to nurturing happy, curious, and determined children

Our Approach to Learning

We pride ourselves on a rich and engaging curriculum that:

Inspires through Discovery Days and carefully sequenced learning

Encourages curiosity, independence, and critical thinking

Offers a broad and balanced experience, with PE and the arts at its heart

Makes the most of our extensive outdoor space, including a swimming pool used for half the year

What We’re Looking For

We want someone who:

Is passionate about education and inclusion

Has the confidence to lead learning when needed

Builds strong relationships with pupils and staff

Brings energy, creativity, and a genuine desire to make a difference

What You’ll Gain

The chance to work within a forward-thinking, supportive Trust

Opportunities for professional growth and development

The reward of knowing your work has a lasting impact on young lives

If you’re ready to take the next step in your career and be part of a school where children—and staff—thrive, we’d love to hear from you.
