Are you passionate about supporting the diverse needs of students in an educational setting? Join our team as a Physical Development Assistant and collaborate closely with the Physical Development Coordinator to achieve both school-wide objectives and cater to the individual needs of our students. Your responsibilities will include implementing manual handling techniques under the guidance of the Physical Development Coordinator, ensuring the smooth organisation and execution of daily occupational therapy (OT) lessons as directed by the Occupational Therapist and SENCo.
In addition to facilitating OT sessions, you'll be responsible for maintaining accurate records of student progress by inputting data, setting up necessary equipment for lessons, and providing valuable feedback to parents in liaison with the Physical Development Coordinator. Your role will also involve overseeing intimate care procedures, ensuring adequate stocks of resources, and conducting physiotherapy group sessions under supervision. If you're dedicated to creating an inclusive and supportive environment for all students, apply now to join our team and contribute to the holistic development of our school community.
