An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Classroom Teacher to join Cobden Primary School on a fixed term basis until 23rd August 2026. You will have the opportunity to be class teacher and/or intervention teacher who will work with groups of young people to make sure they reach their full potential. We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic individual who is keen to make a difference in our school.

Cobden Primary School is a multicultural, inclusive school situated in Loughborough with many good transport links to the school, including by bus and train.

This is the perfect opportunity for someone to gain valuable experience of a variety of year groups in a friendly, busy and caring school. You will receive fantastic support through year group team planning and phase leadership.

Depending on the candidate’s strengths and experience they would be required to teach small groups or take responsibility for a class.

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold QTS status

• Possess the ability to teach high quality lessons and consistently provide learning opportunities that progresses pupils’ learning and achievements

• Be an excellent communicator and able to build positive working relationships with pupils, parents/carers and stakeholders

• Have an interest in SEND and/or EAL
