Here, we believe that education goes beyond simply meeting curriculum objectives; it is about developing meaningful relationships that foster a strong sense of community. As children move through our school, from their earliest formative years, we build upon the experiences they have already gained. With our school foundations deeply rooted in Early Years principles, we believe that the curriculum we offer must preserve and cherish the uniqueness of childhood.
At Ewell Grove we recognise that strong relationships amongst children, teachers and families are vital in nurturing a positive learning environment. Our dedicated team is committed to creating a safe and inclusive space where children can express themselves, explore their interests, and develop a lifelong love of learning. We celebrate diversity and individuality, understanding that each child contributes unique strengths and perspectives to our community.
Ewell Grove champions every child's right to receive a high-quality education within their local community. We aim for excellence in every aspect of school life, from academic achievements to social interactions, creating an environment where children can truly flourish. We set ambitious goals for our children while also striving to meet the aspirations of their families.
Our relational approach lies at the heart of everything we do, ensuring that every child feels valued, supported and connected. We prioritise collaboration and open communication, encouraging children to engage with one another and form friendships that enhance their social and emotional growth.
Experienced Teachers:
ECTs:
From November 2024 we were delighted to become part of the Lumen Learning Trust joining our partner schools, Saxon Primary in Shepperton, The Echelford Primary in Ashford, Riverbridge Primary in Staines upon Thames, Walton Oak Primary in Walton upon Thames and Darley Dene in Addlestone.
The starting point for Ewell Grove's learning environment is the child. We believe the children's needs are at the heart of all that we do, and work hard to ensure the provision is 'crafted' around them to enable their achievement in all areas. Our teaching team benefits from the strengths and skill set from colleagues from across all Lumen schools with the addition of Leadership Consultants centrally appointed by the Trust itself. Across the Trust we have 9 Specialist Leaders of Education and our Executive Principal, Mrs. McCarthy, is an accredited National Leader of Education and a serving Ofsted inspector.
