Your opportunity
We are seeking to appoint an inspirational, dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Teacher (with PE Specialism) to join our team, who will be innovative and adaptable to the challenges of day to day school life. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to join a forward thinking and dynamic academy in the South London and as part of Glyn Learning Foundation.
They will enjoy engaging with children whilst recognising the diversity we have in our wonderful community. As a strong active team player, with good communication skills and a passionate attitude to making a positive impact, you will be supported in school.
Leadership at Chestnut Park School is strong with effective team working through active listening and collaborative ways of working. Every child is both challenged and inspired to achieve the highest standard of basic skills, whilst nurturing independent learners and thinkers.
As well as teaching PE and Sport (initially 3 days a week), the successful candidate will also cover across the school (2 days a week).
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced candidate who wishes to develop their teaching expertise across the primary age range but also someone who has a passion for the teaching of PE and Sport as part of supporting children's physical health, mental health and emotional well-being.
