Your Opportunity
Merstham Park School is looking to appoint a conscientious and dedicated Senior Science Technician to provide technical and learning support to teaching staff and to our students. You will assist in preparing equipment and materials and help in practical lessons. Although not essential, this could be the perfect opportunity if you're an aspiring Teacher (with the relevant experience) looking to gain experience before enrolling on to teacher training.

What we are looking for
We are looking for applicants that meet the following criteria:
- Ability to plan and prioritise a range of regular and irregular tasks within specific deadlines.
- Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to follow strict Health and Safety Regulations.
- Good knowledge of Google Suite and Microsoft Office programs - Excel, Word, Outlook (training can be provided).

The Details:

Contract type: Permanent/Term-Time only
Working hours: 36 hours per week, 39 weeks per year
Part time: Applications will be considered where the needs of the school can be met.
Pay Scale: Associate Specialist - £24,982 FTE (salary pro-rata to hours worked)
