Longford Park Primary School are seeking an inspiring and enthusiastic Playworker to join their committed and supportive wrap around care team for the next academic year.

Your opportunity

We have an opportunity for a term time only playworker to work within our breakfast club 7.15 - 8.45am (2 days per week) and the After School Club 3.00 - 6.00pm (Mon-Fri) on a fixed term contract until July 2027. 

What we are looking for

We are seeking an adaptable and resourceful individual to help create a fun and caring environment within our school wraparound provision. Candidates will have previous experience working with children and be somebody who will engage and inspire the children through extra-curricular activities and learning, whilst upholding the values and ethos of Longford Park Primary School.

The Details

Start Date: September 2026

Working pattern: 18 hours per week.  Breakfast Club 7.15 - 8.45am (2 days, TBC).  After School Club 3.00 - 6.00pm  Monday to Friday, term time only.

Contract Type: Fixed term (until July 27)

Salary: Associate 2.1 £12.74 per hour
