Your Opportunity

We are looking for a Purchase Ledger Officer to join our Finance team on a fixed term basis for 12 months. This is a great opportunity to join one of our regional finance teams and, ultimately, to make a difference to the outcomes of the children and young people attending the schools within our Multi Academy Trust.

The successful candidate will work as part of the finance team, led by the Finance Partner, to deliver an expert service to our schools by:

  • ensuring accurate and timely processing and BACS payment of purchase invoices
  • resolving payment queries with suppliers
  • ensuring compliance with goods ordering and receipting processes
  • liaising with school-based colleagues as required

The successful candidate will work 36 hours a week, over 52 weeks a year, and have a base at The Beacon School, Banstead. As a flexible employer, we are also able to offer remote working for part of the hours. 

Part time hours may be considered for this role- please indicate on your application your preference.
