Your Opportunity
GLF Schools are looking to recruit a Senior IT Technician to be based at de Stafford School in Caterham, but who will also have the opportunity to offer their expertise to other schools in the surrounding area.
The successful candidate will benefit from working with a lively and dedicated IT team supporting one another through varying issues from O365 to legacy teaching hardware across our sites. They will provide first and second-line support in the field, working with a range of systems and users with varying skills and will need to find solutions to issues affecting all aspects of IT.
This is an exciting role with a varied work stream, and we require an intelligent and enthusiastic person who can think outside the box to solve issues independently, but who can also work effectively with our wider IT and school teams. Ideally, we would like the candidate to have a minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role and has experience with hardware and software, including installation, configuration and deployment.

The Details
Salary: Specialist point 12, £29,742 FTE
Hours: 36 hours a week, 52 weeks a year (8.30am - 4.15pm)
Start Date: ASAP
